Midnight Bloom was born from a simple question: what makes a bean truly valuable?
Beyond flavour, classification, price, or technical quality lies a much deeper story - the people who cultivate it, the territory that gives it character, the knowledge passed from one generation to another, and the relationships that allow its value to reach the world.
Our work begins in Peru, with coffee and cacao grown in diverse landscapes and shaped by the knowledge of the communities who care for them. We believe that when products leave their origin too early, more than economic value can be lost. Stories, knowledge, relationships, and opportunities for communities to participate in the value they create can be lost as well.
That is why we build shorter, more transparent supply chains based on direct relationships and responsible sourcing. We seek to keep a meaningful connection between origin and destination, while creating partnerships that benefit both producers and the professionals who transform these ingredients into something new.
For us, this philosophy applies equally to cacao and coffee. The character of a great coffee or chocolate is not created only through roasting, fermentation, or craftsmanship. It begins with the land, the people, and the knowledge behind the bean.

Midnight Bloom’s work does not end with the bean. We believe that a meaningful relationship with origin means investing in the people, knowledge, territories, and future connected to it.
Through the Midnight Bloom Foundation, we support initiatives that extend beyond coffee and cacao - creating opportunities for education, creativity, scientific curiosity, cultural exchange, and environmental stewardship. Our activities are rooted in a simple idea: living well is not only about what we consume, but about how we relate to one another and to the world around us.
We develop and support educational experiences for children and communities, workshops that connect traditional knowledge with science and technology, creative and cultural projects, and initiatives that encourage a deeper understanding of nature and territory. From hands-on workshops in rural communities to explorations of biodiversity, astronomy, technology, art, and Indigenous knowledge, our goal is to create spaces where curiosity becomes a tool for connection and empowerment.
We see stewardship as a long-term responsibility - to care for the land, preserve knowledge, create opportunities, and strengthen the relationships that make communities thrive.
